Dear Parents and Whanau,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits as we approach the festive season. We are excited to inform you about an upcoming event that promises to be another great day for our staff, students, and parents – our school picnic!
Details of the picnic
1. Date and Time: Thursday, 14th December and we will begin our day at 10:00am. Please ensure that you arrive on time to make the most of the day’s activities.
2. Venue: Parakai Springs, 150 Parkhurst Rd, Parakai 0830
3. Cost: The school is generously covering the expenses for up to 2 adults per WSDA school family. However, parents are kindly requested to cover the cost of their own children ($12 per child) that are with them (WSDA students are covered).
4. Food and Beverages: A barbeque will be available for 2 hours at the venue. Don’t forget to bring your own barbeque utensils. Additionally, we encourage you to bring your own picnic lunch and drinks.
5. Sunblock: Don’t forget to pop this in your bag.
6. Seating and Comfort: Please bring your own chairs, blankets, sun umbrella/gazebo or any other items you may need for comfort. We want everyone to have a great time throughout the day.
You may leave from home to Parakai Springs, and we will meet you there. Only students/staff that requires transport will meet at school at 9:00am.
